Training Facilitator for Latin America
Tony Steele and his wife, Beverly moved to Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico in May, 2012 to serve as missionaries after a year of language school in Costa Rica. Their ministry involved church work, working with teams to do evangelism projects, and church planting. As time passed, the emphasis increasingly began to focus on theological training for pastors and church leaders. In 2014 it became apparent that the Lord was leading Tony to focus on developing theological training throughout Latin America with Reaching & Teaching International Ministries. Tony develops and oversees projects and leads teams to do theological training across Latin America. He also connects teams and partnering churches from the USA with Reaching & Teaching projects and provides pre-trip orientation and debrief. He also works with other stateside staff to recruit new missionaries and staff. He earned an M.Div. (1988) and D.Miss. (2016) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Tony and Beverly have two children and four grandchildren.
