Riobamba is the capital of Chimborazo Province in central Ecuador about 120 miles south of Quito. It lies in the shadow of Chimborazo, an inactive volcano and the highest peak in Ecuador. It is situated in the Sierra region of Ecuador.
The training at Riobamba is a strategic opportunity to equip pastors and leaders in the Sierra region of central Ecuador. There are a number of evangelical churches in the region, but there is a great need for pastor and leader training. These pastors are asking for training to strengthen their ministries and churches. Churches in the area have a hunger for sound, biblical training and a need to be able to discern between biblical and unbiblical theologies with which they are confronted. Training treams have the opportunity to impact Highland Quichua and Shuar pastors from the Sierra and Oriente Regions of Ecuador.
