Juazeiro do Norte, Brazil
Juazeiro do Norte is in the process of becoming a major hub in northeastern Brazil. Because this region of Brazil is one of the most heavily Catholic in the entire country, the area surrounding Juazeiro do Norte is one of the least reached and least discipled in all of Brazil. Few of the pastors in this region have any type of theological training. Those who participate on these trips in 2016 will help launch the site in this very needy location.

This strategic training opportunity is situated at the edge of the Ecuadorian jungle, where leaders come from within the jungle to be trained in the truths of God's Word. Most of our students are Shuar indigenous people, with a few lowland Quichuas as well. The majority of the mission stations established through the years out in the jungle areas have been abandoned as missionaries retired or relocated. It's estimated that over 90% are completely closed down now and the indigenous people are returning to traditional ways. Those participating on trips to Macas will have the opportunity to strengthen the represented churches for the gospel's advance throughout the jungle.

Gotera, El Salvador
Reaching and Teaching launched its first training center in El Salvador in 2016. At this strategic location of San Francisco Gotera, pastors and leaders will gather from twenty-six regional cities in the northeastern part of the country. Both urban and rural pastors alike will have access to theological training, some for the first time.
Pagan religion, government corruption, economic hardship and gang violence are prevalent in El Salvador, yet the Lord continues to build His church. The pastors are eager to be equipped as they seek to advance the gospel in their cities.
We are currently seeking a likeminded church partner(s) for ministry at Gotera.

The poorest country in the Western hemisphere, Haiti faces many barriers to social, economic, and political development. Though many nationals consider themselves Christians, there is a significant lack of gospel-centered preaching and discipleship. The country’s voodoo roots run deep, and many professing Christians engage in some form of voodoo worship yet today.
Since the massive earthquake in 2010, there has been a groundswell of interest in local churches working together in order to reach their country with the gospel of Jesus Christ. One of the church’s greatest needs in Haiti is theological training for the hundreds pastors in the outer-lying regions of the country who have little to no access to theological resources.
In an exciting partnership with a nation-wide network of churches, Reaching and Teaching is able to launch our first training site in Port-au-Prince. This opportunity will be the first of its kind in the country: one which specifically targets rural pastors with the formal and comprehensive training they so desperately need.

Alianza Cristiana, Peru
Alianza, Peru lies on the Pastaza River in the Amazon Basin near the Ecuadorian border. The region is jungle and is only accessible by missionary aquaplane, yet it is home to a significant number of indigenous peoples and pastors to be trained.
Among the peoples inhabiting this part of the Amazon basin region of Peru are the Achuar, Candoshi/Shapra, and Quechua. Church planting efforts have had considerable success in this region, yet the training needs are great. Training teams will travel to this strategic location where it is expected that a group of 80-100 will be gathered for training.
Reaching & Teaching is seeking a like-minded partner(s) for the duration of the training program.
