The Regional Mobilizer is responsible for the development and maintenance of ministry partnerships. The ideal candidate will be a mature disciple of Jesus Christ, embrace RTIM’s ministry DNA, a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and a good administrator. Responsibilities include:

MINISTRY MOBILIZATION

  • Fostering and managing relationships with likeminded individuals, churches, seminaries, and organizations in assigned region
    • Decide whether the individual or entity is a good fit with our ministry
    • Connect the entity to a ministry opportunity on the field and the individual with the operations and long-term team
  • Recruit for the ministry at Conferences and Events
  • Identify regional and national events to attend

TEACHING AND TRAINING

  • Lead 2-3 annual short-term training teams overseas as preview opportunities for prospective partners

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mature disciple of Jesus Christ
  • Embrace RTIM’s organizational DNA
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Active member of a local church

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS

  • Participation in at least two Reaching & Teaching short-term mission trips per year
  • Domestic mobilization travel as needed

OTHER DUTIES

  • Maintain a personal social media presence that ties to and reflects Reaching & Teaching’s values.
  • Collaborate with and connect to other Reaching & Teaching staff and support of their areas of responsibility as needed.

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation to be agreed upon when hired
  • Reaching & Teaching employees raise their own support package and must contribute monthly service fee (7% of receipts or $400/month, whichever is higher) for employment overhead.

    You must agree with the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) or The Gospel Coalition Confessional Statement in order to be approved by RTIM. As an inter-denominational organization we minister from a foundational base of doctrines that capture mainstream evangelical theology. These statements of belief are included and should be reviewed. In the specified location, please note which document most closely reflects your convictions. Submission of the application material with this information noted indicates your affirmation of the doctrinal statement you indicate and your agreement to serve wholly in accordance with it while on staff with Reaching and Teaching International Ministries. Additionally, you must agree to the Nashville Statement.

    Virtual Office

    Reaching & Teaching has a decentralized home office, such that staff members are free to live at the location of their choice.

    Compensation

    Compensation will be designated upon hire and is based upon the position and the candidate’s ministry experience. All staff members are responsible for raising their full financial support package, which includes a monthly service fee for employment overhead (7% of receipts or $400/month, whichever is higher).
