Eric and Danica Abisror

Location: Argentina

Eric and Danica Abisror are currently raising support to serve in Argentina with the Wrights and the Leaches. They plan to deploy in early 2018 and start language school in Cordoba, Argentina. They are being sent out from Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Washington, where Eric has served as the Pastor of Student Ministries since 2010. Before pastoring, Eric got his Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and BA from The Masters College. He has a passion for discipleship, pastoral training, teaching the Word of God, and evangelism. Danica loves serving her family and ministering the Word of God, particularly through the discipleship of women. The Abisrors have 4 active boys, Josiah, Jackson, Isaac, and Benjamin, and are expecting a 5th child in fall 2017.

Brian and Sarah Argo

Location: Mexico

Status: Language School

Brian and Sarah Argo desire to provide theological training for church leaders in Oaxaca, Mexico. The Argos have four children: Lindley, Isaac, Emma, and Lucas. Brian graduated from Beeson Divinity School in 2009 and has served in pastoral ministry for the past thirteen years. He previously served as Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Potsdam, N.Y. The Argos are being sent by their home church, Riverside Baptist Church in Helena, AL. Brian and Sarah desire to provide training and resources to church leaders in order to strengthen Christ's church, advance the gospel, and “present every person mature in Christ” (Col 1:28). They deployed to language school in the fall of 2016 and will subsequently join the Reaching & Teaching missionary team in Oaxaca City to take part in the Great Commission among the people of Southern Mexico.

Sam and Summer Behar

Location: Peru

Status: Language School

Sam and Summer Behar are currently in language school in Lima, preparing for ministry in Peru’s capital city. Sam is a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. They have four children: Benjamin, Bethany, Jonathan, and Ellie. They are excited to serve with Reaching and Teaching to equip pastors in Peru to do all that Christ has commanded his people, as well as reach the Japanese diaspora community in Lima.

Kevin and Marjorie Bishop

Location: Ecuador

Status: Language School

Kevin and Margie Bishop are currently in language school in Quito, preparing to serve as missionaries in Manabí Province, Ecuador. God has called them to provide sound biblical training to local pastors and church leaders. They will also be involved in sharing the gospel with unbelievers and hosting short term teams from the United States to meet the needs of the local churches in Manabí Province. Their passion is to teach and share Christ in order "to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for the building up the body of Christ (Eph 4:12)

Alex & Patricia Daher

Location: Brazil

Status: Raising Support

Alex and Patricia Daher are moving back to Brazil with the desire to establish a gospel church that proclaims Christ’s majesty for people’s salvation and God’s exaltation. They have two children: Sara and Davi. The Daher family considers it a privilege to be a part of God’s plan to make his name great among the nations, “For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen” (Romans 11:36). They are being sent out by Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

AJ and Ruth Gibson

Location: Mexico

Status: Serving in Mexico

AJ and Ruth Gibson have served as missionaries to Mexico since 2004. After AJ completed a Ph.D. in New Testament the Gibsons moved to Monterrey, Mexico where they served for five years on the faculty and administration at the Christian University of the Americas. While in Monterrey they also served as church planters in a village outside of the city. In 2009 they relocated to south Texas where they served for several years as Mexico Field Director for a mission organization dedicated to training and sending church planters to unreached people groups around the world. In 2013 the Gibsons moved to Oaxaca, Mexico where they continued to provide leadership for their organization’s church planting missionaries and teams. AJ and Ruth joined Reaching and Teaching early in 2015 and are now focusing their ministry on training indigenous church leadership in southern Mexico. They have five children: Jonathan, Christian, Katelyn, Hudson, and Sofia.

J and K

Location: East Asia

Status: Serving in East Asia

J and K are serving in East Asia, ministering alongside established workers to spread the good news among unreached people and to disciple. Both J and K plan to use their educational and vocational experience as a platform for the task He has given them. J and K love the Word and desire to advance the good news among specific peoples in East Asia.

Dustin and Heidi Greenup

Location: Peru

Status: Language School

The Greenup family is sent by Faith Bible Church in Spokane, WA. Dustin and Heidi received theological and missiological training from To Every Tribe in south Texas. Prior to that time, Dustin was a residential real estate broker and Heidi a registered nurse. The Greenup family plan to work with the Holloway and McKenzie families in advancing the gospel throughout Peru. They have five children: Ezra, Olivia, Camille, Moses, and Emily. The Greenups are currently studying Spanish in Cost Rica.

Trevor and Betsy Holloway

Location: Peru

Status: Serving in Peru

The Holloway family is sent from Christ Fellowship Kansas City where Trevor served as a pastor. Trevor received his master's degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and served in pastoral ministry for seven years before taking a staff position at To Every Tribe's Center for Pioneer Church Planting. The Holloway family were appointed as missionaries to Peru with Reaching & Teaching in June 2015. Aside from working in the home, Betsy is passionate about mentoring and discipling younger women. The Holloways' vision for ministry is two-fold: 1) to partner with and train Peruvian pastors, leaders, and missionaries to make disciples and plant churches among the unreached with the gospel of Christ and 2) to entrust biblically sound teaching to faithful men who will be equipped to teach others thereby strengthening the church in Peru. They have four children: Ethan, Titus, Nora, and Ellie.

David and Gretta Johns

Location: Honduras

Status: Raising Support

David and Gretta Johns are raising financial support to serve as missionaries in Roatan, Honduras, with their three children. In 2014, the Johns' completed a two-year program with To Every Tribe where they received missiological and theological training. Since that time, David has served on staff with First Baptist Church of Los Fresnos, Texas, their sending church. The Johns are compelled to reach the island of Roatan by providing pastoral training, discipleship, and strengthening indigenous churches. They hope to deploy to Honduras in August of 2017.

James and Katie Kerr

Location: Ecuador

Status: Serving in Ecuador

James and Katie are currently attending language school in Costa Rica to serve in Ecuador. James and Katie first went to Ecuador on a short term trip in 2009. Since that trip, James has served on several short term trips training pastors with Reaching & Teaching. The Kerr’s have a passion to see the gospel transform lives. James will focus on pastoral training and discipleship. Their prayer is to see God glorified by encouraging the body of Christ in Ecuador. The Kerrs have a precious daughter named Hannah.

Mat and Amy Kountz

Location: Ecuador

Status: Language School

Mat and Amy are currently studying Spanish in Cuenca Ecuador with their children - William , Lina , Jude , and Oliver. Mat completed an MA in Missiology at Southern Seminary and an MA in Church Planting at Southeastern Seminary.  Mat was recently accepted into the Doctoral Studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, but will not start Doctoral work until after language and culture acquisition. The Kountzes intend to train and mobilize Ecuadorian pastors and missionaries to reach their own neighboring communities as well as peoples beyond the borders of Ecuador. By God’s grace, the Kountzes would love to see the Word of God greatly increase in Ecuador in depth and width.  To this end they are working with the Cuenca missionary team and local church leaders to start a Bible college and theological seminary in Ecuador’s university city that can train Ecuadorian pastors church planters and missionaries.

ND and Y

Location: South Asia

Status: Serving in South Asia

ND and Y have returned to their home country in South Asia, having come to the U.S. for theological preparation. ND has served as the pastor of a congregation of believers from his home country while he has been here. ND plans to train Christian leaders in the capital city as well as start a Christian day school so that Christian children have access to a decent education. ND and Y are preparing to move back soon to South Asia with their children, C and N. ND and Y have set their heart to study the Bible, to obey it, and to teach it in South Asia (Ezra 7:10).

Brandon and Krystle Leach

Location: Argentina

Status: Language School

Brandon and Krystle Leach desire to provide theological training and leadership development in Córdoba, Argentina. Long-term, the Leaches hope to facilitate a church planting hub in Salta, Argentina, so that the gospel might take root among the many villages that have no gospel presence in the valleys of the Andean mountain region, near the Chile and Bolivia borders. The Leaches have two children, Mya and Malachi. Brandon recently graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div.). The Leachs are being sent out by First Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, and were deployed to Córdoba in January of 2017.

Josh and Brita McKenzie

Location: Peru

Status: Language School

Josh and Brita McKenzie received their theological and missional training from To Every Tribe in 2015. Prior to this, Josh was an engineer with a highway construction company for 12 years in Montana. The McKenzies were appointed as missionaries with Reaching and Teaching in June 2015 and are currently serving in Cusco, Peru as part of a team comprised of the Greenups and Holloways. Their desire is to train Peruvian pastors, leaders, and missionaries to reach the unreached with the gospel of Christ and to entrust this teaching to faithful men who will be able to teach others (2 Tim 2:2). They are especially eager to train and disciple pastors and leaders in the rural areas of Peru where there is little access to sound theological training. They have four children: Daniel, Clara, Paul, and Evelyn.

Andy and Courtney Miller

Location: Peru

Status: Raising Support

Andy and Courtney Miller are raising support to serve in Cusco, Peru, to train pastors in truth of the gospel. Also, Courtney plans to practice medicine to serve families and demonstrate the love of Christ. Their prayer for both pastoral training and medical practice is “that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ” (Col. 4:3), in order to see healthy, faithful churches in Peru. Andy graduated from Southern Seminary in 2009, and has since served as a pastor in two churches, most recently in Vidalia, Georgia. Courtney graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 2011, and is currently a pediatrician for a local hospital. They are being sent by Trinity Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Brian and Christa Pate

Location: Brazil

Brian and Christa Pate are currently raising support to serve as missionaries in Brazil. Brian holds a D.Min. in Biblical Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is passionate about serving Brazilian pastors by providing theological and practical training. He has served as an associate pastor in Texas for the past five years. Christa grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as a missionary kid and speaks fluent Portuguese. They have one son, Caleb, and one on the way. The Pates are being sent out of Liberty Baptist Church in Dalhart, Texas.

Anibal and Meredith Salazar

Location: Peru

Status: Serving in Peru

Anibal and Meredith Salazar serve with Reaching & Teaching in Lima, Peru. For the past decade, Anibal has traveled and interpreted for mission groups throughout Peru. The Salazars’ responsibilities include include logistics coordination and language interpreting for short-term trip participants, as well as developing pastoral training sites throughout the country.

Christopher and Carol Sills

Location: Ecuador

Status: Serving in Ecuador

Christopher and Carol Sills are serving on the field in Cuenca, Ecuador. They have four children: Abraham, Anna Beth, Mary Elle, and Naomi Katherine. The Sills' mission is two-fold: first, they seek to reach the people of Ecuador, namely the Highland Quichua, with the gospel of Christ; second, they seek to teach and train pastors and lay leaders of indigenous Ecuadorian churches and to provide appropriate discipleship for believers in these churches. It is the Sills' prayer that their efforts will result in greater glory to God and the advance of Christ's Kingdom.

David and Emily Stroup

Location: Ecuador

Status: Raising Support

David and Emily Stroup are currently raising support to go and make disciples among the indigenous people in the Amazon jungle of Ecuador, with the end goal of establishing indigenous churches and training Christ-exalting leaders who will do the same. After the Lord provides the necessary funds, the Stroups plan to spend a year in language school before beginning work in the jungle. David and Emily have been blessed with two sons.

Weston and Heidi Root

Location: Oaxaca City, Mexico

Status: Serving in Mexico

Weston and Heidi Root are ministering alongside the Gibsons in Oaxaca City to strengthen indigenous churches by training their leadership. They completed two years of missions training through To Every Tribe Ministries in south Texas. The Roots have five children: Shania, Delia, Hudson, Hans, and Mateo.

David and Carrie Wells

Location: Ecuador

Status: Raising Support

David and Carrie Wells have completed language school and are preparing to embark for ministry in Ecuador. The Wells are particularly interested in pastoral training, discipleship, and ministry to families. David and Carrie are the parents of two adult children and grandparents to one adorable little girl. Please pray that God will enable them to faithfully share the gospel and teach God's Word to men, women, and children in Ecuador.

Jimmy and Heather Winfrey

Location: Ecuador

Status: Language School

Jimmy and Heather Winfrey are currently enrolled in language school in Cuenca, Ecuador. They have four children; Willow, Walker, a recently adopted child from Ethiopia named Waverly, and they joyfully added Weston in November 2016. Jimmy and Heather both graduated from Boyce College. Jimmy earned his Master of Divinity degree from Southern Seminary and is currently in the Ph.D. Program at Southern studying Christian Missions. The Winfreys have a passion to glorify God by teaching others to know Christ and make Him known.

C and C

Location: MENA

Status: Serving in MENA

C&C have begun work in the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) region. They served as 'tentmakers' for seven years in the region prior to returning to the states to prepare for full-time service. C completed a Masters degree in 2016. C is a certified Precept Bible teacher and actively participates in ministry among women, children, and families.

C&C desire to advance the gospel among the scores of refugees that have been displaced in this region. They hope to train indigenous pastors and leaders to reach their own communities and beyond the borders of the region. By God’s grace, they plan to raise up called leaders to "rightly divide" the Word of God and to lead healthy, biblical churches for the glory of God.

Jason and Kami Wright

Location: Argentina

Status: Language School

Jason and Kami Wright deployed in the fall of 2016 to provide theological training and leadership development in Córdoba, Argentina. The Wrights have three children: Kayden, Carley, and Brielle. Jason served on the stateside staff of Reaching & Teaching prior to being sent into the mission field. The Wrights are being sent out by Redeemer Church in Abilene, Texas. Jason and Kami desire to see pastors and church planters "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18) so that churches can be strengthened and God glorified.
